its the same but cheaper. Shopping malls are I think 4-5 IN WHOLE OF RAK. The cost of living to quality of life is better if you are above 40-45 yrs old i guess. Either way you can travel to dubai if you want, but you can get mmuch better real estate for the price in comparison to dubai in my opinion. Again, its my personal opinion. How about services?
Restaurants, Food deliveries, uber, Shopping mall?
Thanks.
Jim, you are right, sharjah is cheaper but it's like living in india or Pakistan or the equivalent of deira. Ras Al khaimah is more like first world , have a look at al hamra village, its 40-45% Europeans and the rest, more balanced. Rents are cheaper, you have a marina, it's fully gated, villas, townhouses and apartments, beach access too with water sports, rents are almost 40% less than dubai in my opinion. You could get cheaper real estate at Sharjah (for eg. Al Majz area is nice and near the coast).
That should be 20mins from Dubai but in the traffic rush can take 45mins or even more.
How about schools in RAK?
How many foreigners are living there?
I saw some British schools in rak, apparently there is a huge expat community of British and other EuropeansJim, you are right, sharjah is cheaper but it's like living in india or Pakistan or the equivalent of deira. I would avoid it, its the same as sharjah. I would suggest you to visit rak and only specific communities would work well@A1988 any thoughts on Ajman? I have recently talked to people who are choosing Ajman over Dubai for lifestyle reasons.
