We ordered our first setup with UniqPayments about 11 months ago. It was with an EU UBO and a company in
Hong Kong connected to Airwallex.
Overall, the process has been pretty smooth. The team was supportive the whole way, even though there were small delays at times for our second setup bank account. Luckily, it didn’t impact our business much since we always had one working setup during that time. We started slow, followed their guidelines for warming up, set up cloaking, and so far, we’ve managed to process over 1 million HKD.
Michael also offered us a
crypto exchange service. We used it and did over 90k in exchanges with a 2.5% rate to
USDT from Airwallex in the past 2 months.
So far, we’ve gotten two full setups delivered in
Hong Kong, both including Airwallex. Just two weeks ago, we placed another order for two more setups. Honestly, we’re happy with their service, but from what we have experienced, you do have to monitor Stripe account carefully and try to avoid or lower down chargebacks or disputes—those can really cause problems for Stripe based on our past experience.
For context, we’re in the pharma niche in the EU, and it’s been working well for us so far with clients from EU as well.
