Uniq told me that this can happen after selfie KYC's, so let's see what they'll do.

Another update, so far we have been using Airwallex Payments (with HK company) successfully, still warming up though but it's going smooth so far, so it's a good backup for us for now.
They have also provided us with a partner that has a plugin setup to cloak the Airwallex payments, using a Woocommerce plugin and a proxy site, this is working perfectly (credit card only for now, local payment methods added next month)
Checkout using this method is seamless, the user doesn't know the payment is being redirected. I can hook up multiple merchant sites and have a dashboard that has a nice overview of all the transactions per merchant site.

Uniq is looking to provide us a replacement Stripe setup in a different GEO (probably UK or EU) as we have twice encountered issues with the HK setup.

All in all, Airwallex seems to be a good alternative to Stripe so far. I've also been looking at other payment processors together with the guys from Uniq, so I will report back if I can onboard other PSPs and test them.

As promised, keeping everyone up to date.

Airwallex Payments are going very smoothly, no issues so far, integration into our stores is also working nicely.
Exchanges to USDT are also very fast, usually within 2 working days the money is transferred into our wallet, everything is handled very professionally.
In terms of customer service, they are doing everything they can to resolve issues, as you all know two HK stripes got banned, they swiftly delivered a UK Stripe this time, I'm still waiting for the EMI to be delivered but I'm sure that this will be arranged.
Even if the EMI takes a while, they can still arrange a solution to receive the payouts from Stripe.

Response times are usually very quick, I do have to remind them about certain things from time to time, but when things are urgent they reply very fast.

Hopefully the UK Stripe will have more success than the HK Stripe's for our business, we will start warming it up next week and will do so only with credit card payments. After a while we will start accepting local payment methods on Stripe as well once everything is smooth.

All in all, we have faced a lot of issues, but the people from Uniq come through every time, Michael has been very supportive and understanding of our complaints and is always actively working with us to find a solution.

Sent $500 USDT as deposit for a new product and about to buy a HK set up and additional bank account.

Now they have gone totally silent and appear to be keeping our money.

Surprising and really very disappointing!

Here we are again, just keeping you guys up to date.

Airwallex Payments is still running smoothly, scaling up from 25K to 40K USD monthly in payments right now.
UK Stripe is warming up on only credit card payments so far (was advised by the Uniq team), once the payouts from Stripe arrive in the Payoneer account, I will start enabling Local Payment Methods as well.

Exchanging to USDT still goes very smoothly, usually in 2-3 business days (after transferring the funds) it arrives in USDT in our wallet.

If the UK Stripe gets warmed up and is running smoothly we will be looking into buying additional accounts to facilitate our payments, in our specific case it seems that Airwallex is the most stable solution for now.

Communication and service from Michael and the team has been very good so far.
 
This operation is very responsive, looking at the overall reviews nothing bad to see.
