I recently renewed my license with their help. Everything went smoothly, and I received confirmation from IFZA. Throughout the process, I had an extensive correspondence with Dina.

Perhaps IMEX inside has a sort of a link or even an office like the one shown in the DLS picture, but it was closed when I got there, so I cannot tell for sure. I paid DLS and they got my renewal without any problem. I was afraid of being scammed but I called IFZA and verified it. Was anybody scammed here? Or was I too lucky? I do not know. What I can tell is that I find this "ghosting" approach very unprofessional.
IMEX appears to be a finished office centre. https://dubaimarina-businesscenter.imexre.com/
Seems like a legit place.
Glad to hear you had no issues! :)

sorry but extensive correspondence. Email only i guess. No phone number works, nor the ones on their website. Seems spurious to say the least.

Noone met Fred in the last year, "planning to meet?" just my two pence.

I have extensive correspondence alright, with IFZA doing my own renewal despite paying those **** for it.

This is not what it seems, it walks like a duck, it sounds like a duck, probably is a goose

I just described my recent experience with DLS, clarifying that their latest emails are not a scam. Communication with Fred has always been an issue.

I must also say that, to his credit, Fred has always replied, and he didn’t just disappear from the forum, leaving people hanging. I’m a bit surprised to see that two users have reported something negative about DLS. Anyway, you can never satisfy every customer, there will always be some who complain and feel cheated, no matter how well you try to do things.

thats what i mean, dls says, fred is back, you can meet. but never ever there is an actual phone call, or anything in person or at their offices. An email only, heaven knows who you actually dealing with. Unless anyone can confirm they seen or met or indeed spoke in person or even by phone to dls - it seems to be as mysterious as the bitcoin creator.

Via email you can be anyone.

am sure if you pay dls, they will pay the fees due to ifza, but you also would go for dls as there is added value there, which is no longer the case. If your renewal is anything but simply straightforward, they are nowhere to be found. We pay a premium for their service, which is nonexistent. The contact details on dls-dubai.com website are not being answered.

I would strongly advise not to use DLS as we do not know who actually runs the show over there.

In my case, the renewal turned out to be cheaper than directly through IFZA. DLS mentioned a discount for clients in the email, and I checked - it’s true. Additionally, I renewed for several years at once (IFZA allows renewal for up to 5 years), which allowed me to get an additional discount. However, this discount comes from IFZA, and DLS simply reflects it in their prices.

@M4S you said- when fred arrives back in the UAE. Is he not available currently? When will he come back? maybe thats a reason, why there was no recent communication from his side
No he is currently out of the country. He is scheduled back early November

Fred has never left us hanging for anything. Always great service, sometime slow in response but he always got back to us. Everything as advertised and made good on what he promised even if it was extra effort in his side, which is more than I can say for many providers I have dealt with in the UAE

Just my $0.02. Everyone has their own experiences ‍♂️

I renewed 2 weeks ago with DLS as they were cheaper than going direct to IFZA for the renewal.

All went as planned and received documents etc directly from IFZA.

I've messaged Fred a few times about the visa renewal but not heard anything back as of yet (not ideal)

dls is not staffed by fred or dina I doubt. Their phone number on website does not work. They dont respond to emails beyond upto point after you paid.

Yes they pay ifza (so far anyway) the renewal fee as thats where their money is made only. @uk29 has that experience, but........

In case of issues of anything non standard beyond pay and renwe - you are on your own. Dont deal with them, not heard from them. I do not think the previous people that were reliable are in charge at all -

Hope its now owned by someone else (as reported previously by other members here @USDT https://www.offshorecorptalk.com/th...se-another-service-provider.44644/post-312639)

Riding on the goodwill created by previous owners. Not sure how @M4S can say that Fred is back in November when noone can get a hold of any of them.

If however Fred and Dina still are one and the same in charge - lord help us all. Either way go direct or ask some other provider like @EmiratesSetup

Until someone can confirm in person with their eyeballs that these mysterious people exist in real life, its a no go area - noone knows who is in charge there

Alright, I understand your frustration, and I can also get a bit annoyed at the way DLS aka FRED handles things. However, I will say that if he comes back and his service level remains the same as before, then I am more than satisfied.

After all, he was very helpful in many threads and could guide you further with his responses, which is not something that can be said about @EmiratesSetup, who gave up just a few months after they became the main sponsor here.

I think this is probably the case unfortunately

I wouldn't be entirely surprised if it’s not Fred running the show anymore.

Historically, he always used to voice note me on WhatsApp, whereas now, it’s soley text based replies.

However, it is equally entirely possible it is Fred as he has retained the same banking details in UAE and in Europe. Along with retaining the same phone numbers for himself and Mohammed (PRO)

As of now, I still don’t have a reply from him or Dina regarding the visa renewal situation/process at all which is a real shame as the original service they provided was top tier
