How about investing directly into listed companies like for example Panthera Resources (billion $$$ claim vs. India regarding their canceled license in Rajastan?), and diversifying by doing it with 5 different one's?
Every company is involved in some sort of litigation at some point, and big companies are usually involved in multiple cases at the same time. These events are just one of the many factors that can (but not necessarily and not in the way one would expect) influence their stock price.
So no, this is not a way to invest into litigation funding but rather speculation on future stock prices.

I agree, you can't find any big company that does not is involved in any sort of litigation. If that stops you from investing into them, you can't invest in much.
