I am developing a bad allergy for everything “Swiss”.
First (several months ago) SwissBorg decided to blacklist for no reason whatsoever an Ethereum wallet of mine. Now they decided to conduct a “behavioral check” and requested - again - documentation in the form of tax returns or payslips, bank statements etc.
I have such documentation and provided it. But I don’t like to do so again and again.
I am a CHSB holder, Genesis level, SB shareholder, level 3 verified and have transacted a few millions over the years. But I will probably move elsewhere, for example OKX, which offers a MT personal IBAN too.

They blacklisted a wallet external or your wallet internal?

I once deposited 0.5 ETH that came from staking in a privacy protocol (railgun?) and they rejected it -> had to provide a external wallet to send back to.

So it might be for compliance reasons (i closed my account after that)

We are contacting you in regard to your recent deposit of x.xx ETH, sent from wallet address xxxxxxxxxx
Unfortunately, this wallet address is not supported by our system due to security vulnerabilities (i.e. exposed/published private keys, or other similar types of risk factors which have been identified and reported publicly).

For this reason the transaction had to be reverted, could you please confirm the refund in the SwissBorg app?
Please make sure that you enter the same wallet address that the funds were sent from.

CEX's are told to allow funds to be deposited so as to map out all wallets/associations...
Of course, that’s the reason why I use a specific wallet with all cex transactions, I want it to be well documented and beyond any suspect.

I’ve had enough of SwissBorg. Their monkeys are becoming too demanding. 2 months after having submitted copies of my tax returns (clearly showing my income) and other stuff, they write me:

We have received your uploads! Unfortunately we couldn't identify your total annual income on the provided statements, therefore could you please upload:
  1. Tax statement showing your annual income
  2. Any additional source of funds which could justify total deposits made so far, such as: property sale, inheritance, loan, dividends, etc
  3. Since the majority of your deposits are in crypto, we will also need a crypto document that can be one of the following:
- Your crypto investment portfolio (Outside of SwissBorg);
- Crypto trading/sale documents or statements;
- Bank statements showing the transfer of funds to crypto exchanges for the purchase of cryptocurrencies.

Please note that we can only accept documents containing your full name or at least your email address.

I have sold the last few BORG tokens I was still holding (in several tranches as they impose a limit of €10k per transaction) and I’m now trying to find out how I can get rid of the SwissBorg shares.

RIP SwissBorg

Same bad experience here unfortunately (Obviously not with volumes and levels like yours). I joined them after I saw your thread on OCT approx 2 years ago and everything worked smooth in the beginning. (I also became a shareholder and participated in their Series A if I remember correctly.)

More recently every time I went on a vacation for a few weeks they asked me to upload new "proof of residence" since I logged in from a different country (not EU). I could understand this for the first time but they asked me for the same docs 4 times last year. I explained them various times but also stopped using them therefore.

Borg can be sold on decentralised exchanges, why would you dump it all through their exchange, as for the shares work with others holding and see if you have any power to destroy the board/management.

Tell me one “Swiss” thing that didn’t end bad. Including the stupid Rolex watches (mostly made in China anyway) that can’t keep the time.
@daniels27 ange¤%&ange¤%&ange¤%&ange¤%&ange¤%&ange¤%&ange¤%&ange¤%&ange¤%&

As with most Swiss things, the question is for whom it ends bad.

But I'll give you an example for a Swiss invention that did not end bad for all: iodised salt. Oh and this guy

But he is actually half Italian. Maybe good for you and me for once!
