Can you give the procedure to get one.I am not sure though about Indonesias taxation of offshore companies.Phillipines is Territorial tax country and has no CFC laws as per my knowledge
Just go to Bali, pay $200, and get your license, easy.

For the taxation questions, please create a new thread.

Some people here have been skeptical about giving a Thai address to banks because of concerns about CRS and safety.
Just don't be a tax resident in Thailand.

What are they going to do about those reports?

as well as this because I've paid 550 recently.
You got scammed, price for new license is 205 baht for car and 105 for moto.

smells bs to me.

> to get a pink card bring your work permit
yea perhaps this is why it does smell bs to me.
More information here, you don't need work permit just house registration and 50 baht.

Probably you confused OR with AND.

I seriously doubt I was scammed by the DLT.

ah so you "just" need to buy a house first :D okay, seems legit.
I'd go business & work permit route.
I believe you can get the "house registration" if you just sign a lease. I believe it's called TM-30, and you can just get it for 300 THB without actually signing a lease.

I've found the info: the new driving license costs 205 THB for car and 105 for motorbike, source: https://www.dlt.go.th/en/new-license
I was charged 505 because I was renewing a 5 year license, source: https://www.dlt.go.th/en/two-year-license
please note that as I've mentioned previously a new driving license might not be accepted by some services, as I was told by my friends who relocated to Thailand when the RU-UA war started.
I've never experienced any problems providing my 5 year license as an ID card.

TM-30 is not accepted as a house registration or as a proof of residence or as anything else, it is absolutely useless, at least it was for me. it is just a bureaucratic burden for the Thai house owners who are obliged by the law to report foreigners staying in their houses/hotels.
but still it could work for you eventually as everything changes daily in Thailand.

Did you even read my links? You don't need to buy anything. You just need to ask the owner to include you in the book as you live there.

Most won't do it but if you pay them for the time it takes them to do it, they probably will.
