Meme coin and company?

Yeah not bad story,

But a generalization of personal opinions strongly comes through here, as always. It’s completely absurd to lump all so called "shitcoins" like XRP, LTC, SOLANA, etc., into the same category as all the others just because you have a different belief.

It’s exactly like saying all Black people are the same or all Chinese people are the same without distinction.

The idea is that if something goes wrong, my responsibility as an LLC is limited. As a physical person, I have full responsibility.

It is illegal, as a company, to create a meme coin? Based on your cons list, it looks like.
Its not illegal if you go through your regulator and apply for it and get their holy blessing. Otherwise they'll go after you for issuing unregulated securities that are not approved by them. You need the overlord blessing to do so.

Can it get you in massive trouble which will lead to fines and legal fee ? Absolutely.

Well, it won't be totally useless as you could spend the coins in some ways, like praying Cthulhu to not devour your soul. Not very different to pay some money to light a candle in a church. Although we can discuss that religions are the biggest scammers of all time ;)

Cash-out the gains? Unless you are secretly Elon Musk and plan to tweet about my coin, I think you are giving me way too much credit XD
If you don't think you'll manage to profit from that coin, what is there to worry about lmao Teenagers create memecoins on Solana with a couple of clicks. They ain't created LLCs anywhere

Just the first thing that comes to my mind:
Cheap coin + sending emails = spam

Of course, I can implement measures on the web to limit the functionality but no code is 100% secure... and there are some more things like that... so, yeah, there is some risk

Hi, yes, another guy trying to create a meme coin and looking for advice and help. Guilty.

Not really trying to scam people or get rich (is that a good or a bad thing?), just learn and have fun along the way.

So, what technology should I use? I already discarded Ethereum (too high gas fees) so I doubt whether to use BSC or SOL. Any big pros/cons for one or the other?

Legal implications? I mean, it is a meme coin and will say that on the website but could there be any legal problem? Will you recommend creating a cheap company somewhere to limit personal responsibility?

Also, anonymity is important to me. Is there any way to link a coin with its creator? I guess the domain will be linked to me, could that be avoided by creating the company and buying the domain through it?

Check out Pancakeswap (PCS). They recently launched a springboard that makes it extremely easy to create meme tokens (no technical experience required). Check out this video of someone that recently created a meme coin -

PCS is on BSC, so the creation of each coin is attached to the wallet address, not to an individual. So it's possible to remain anonymous. You don't necessarily need a domain either b/c you can promote the coin through various social media platforms.

I'm not into memes and would encourage investors to stay away from these useless tokens. But a lot of dumb money is going into chasing memes and if you know how to play it (get in early and get out asap with profits), some may stand a chance of making a little profit; but most investors will lose out to these ponzis.

Nevertheless since you inquired about the creation of memes, this is a simple way to do it. Also worth mentioning that BSC has a larger user base than SOL.

why would you link a meme coin (unregisted security) to a company linked to you ?

The pros vs cons are crazy.

Cons: Get charged by regulator for unlicensed broker/dealer, selling unregistered securities, and god knows what else they can slap you with. Expose your identity to a bunch of strangers (crypto people get kidnapped daily)

Pro: People will trust you a little bit more ?
yeah, people tend to talk to much if they own crypto, no wonder they get caught by the state mafia.
