DLS and Fred MIA

Strangely IFZA wrote me a month ago saying they are only b2b and to go with DLS.

So now for them to say the opposite is quite a surprise. But very Dubai!
I have the same, an announcement form IFZA that DLS is up and running. As well as an email form DLS announcing their return to business.
Welcome to Dubai haha

So here’s a quick conclusion to my story at least - IFZA confirmed that DLS are no longer partnered with them and the Fred will reach out directly to explain.

What’s more, IFZA honored the DLS Loyalty Discount offered to me even though I went direct through IFZA.

My personal take on this is, yes it’s very Dubai, but no way is DLS, Fred or Dina out to con anyone. Also IFZA are just fantastic.

I hope Fred’s OK and nothing is wrong that he’s reversed his reopening - if it’s been down to stress/health I totally understand.

End of the day company renewed. All good.

When looking into setting up in Dubai some years ago I had originally contacted Fred to arrange the formation etc for me, and when it came to actually moving this forward DLS had gone silent and the reports on this forum were that they had gone out of business.

To my surpirse I recently recieved a message from Fred saying that they are back in business, and although I really wanted to use him as he had a reputation for doing a great job, I had already started the process with GenZone, who I have to say have been superb and I would highly recommend them. They have held my hand every single step of the way, both out of the country and also when I got to Dubai, and I cannot speak highly enough of their service and support. They are also pretty well priced.

I wish Fred and his team the very best and hope that things work out well for them, but for anyone looking for an alternative then GenZone are excellent in every way.

I recall that when the UAE introduced corporate tax, Fred—the owner of DSL—claimed it wouldn’t affect free zone companies because he supposedly had “insights” from the government. Astonishingly, some people believed him and went ahead to establish companies based on this misinformation. Now, you’re genuinely shocked to receive contradictory answers from DSL? It seems inevitable, given the shaky foundation those claims were built upon.

I think he’s at that stage where he’s squirming like a snake right before the end, he can’t come back, but he still won’t accept that it’s over. That’s probably why his buddy keeps popping up now and then saying stuff like “we’re ready” or “we’re back,” and so on.

you may be totally right. This is a last before they die!

Hello OffshoreCorpTalk Users and DLS Dubai Clients I want to provide you with a final update about DLS Dubai.

As you might know I took August 2023 Off for uncertain time due to Health Issues including a Burnout - the unclear Corporate Tax Situation in the UAE back in 2023 as well as the Discussions and Pressure of Questions and Clients here in the Forum in Combination with the very questionable and unclear introduction of the Corporate Tax in the UAE - gave me the rest.

I invested the rest of 2023 and the half of 2024 to build back my health and to get in shape.

During the End of 2024 after intensive Conversations with one of our Partner Freezones in Dubai called IFZA - which is due to DLS Dubai Cooperation pretty famous here in the Forum - I did want to re-launch DLS Dubai and at least serve Former Clients who worked directly with IFZA while DLS Dubai couldn't serve them.

First it was agreed that this is absolutely not a problem, then there was a few problems and then me taking back DLS Dubai Clients - so basically taking my own Clients back - was entirely a Problem and not possible at all - CEO and Shareholder Final Decision while on Management Level Business Director and Chief Financial Officer were fighting for me.

This is basically what caused the confusion and why some clients received Newsletter that DLS Dubai and Fred are back in Business and some not, that's why some client could to renew Trade License with DLS Dubai Discount while some not.

Ultimately I did decide to cut all ties with IFZA as there was just too much conflict.

Further Banking for Offshore Companies as well as opening Crypto Exchange Accounts with Crypto Cash Out Schemes is since forever my core focus and business and this became more and more unattractive in the UAE with the increasing Rules & Regulations.

For OffshoreCorpTalk and DLS Dubai Clients looking to get what attracted the initial to Dubai we are able to serve them with 0% Panama Offshore Company including transactional Retail Banking and Crypto Exchange Account like back in the good old days in Dubai without Corporate Tax in place.

Beside that I'm happy that still so many DLS Dubai Clients using the Setup I provided them 4-5 years ago.

Please have understanding that I can't serve DLS Dubai Clients with a IFZA Freezone Company any longer Free of Charge however feel free to utilize my Consulting and Setup Service you can find here:
