Numbered bank accounts do exist -- and they exist in the same manner as they always have. I wrote about it in post #16 of this thread and I also attached an article.
Numbered bank accounts have not changed. What has changed is that
Swiss banks, under Swiss law, will now report all bank accounts for tax purposes, including numbered bank accounts. So, numbered bank accounts are still useful to maximize
privacy (including data breaches), just not for
tax reporting or criminal investigative purposes.
They will provide extra privacy against
creditors, civil lawsuits, spouses, business partners, data breaches, and minor criminal and administrative matters. You probably need a fairly large deposit to get such an account.
