Sorry, that’s BS. Maybe that’s true for some banana republic, but in Western countries, the law is the law. The problem is that sometimes the law is not quite clear, so certain authorities make up their own rules. But if you don’t like them, you can always go to court.
Also you are stupid if you ask the authorities about how to save taxes. Like they would help you. Of course they make s**t up when they realize you don’t know the law. If you do that, you absolutely deserve to be screwed over.
