Maybe Argentina! For now the unofficial exchange rate there means that if you bring in hard currency (like dollars, Euros or CHF) it goes 2 or 3 times as far as in your home country. And aside from Real Estate everything in Buenos Aires for instance is incredibly cheap. You can get a 1st class steak dinner for under $10. If you come in and stay as a PT (Tourist Passing Through) you don't pay any taxes (as a resident) and there is only a small fine for overstaying if you don't want to take a visa run every 5 months or so. Crypto is widely used and accepted.

Ein Leser der Boulevardzeitung Bild berichtete, dass er 1000 Euro über die Freunde-Funktion von Paypal an seine Frau überwiesen hatte und dafür nur 600 Euro abgebucht wurden.

a country that is probably the world record holder in number of exporpriations and defaults over the past 100 years where banking system was on a standstill for years doesn't quite fall into my core requirements of the respect of rule of law, stability or respect of private property....

Argentina? Haven't you heard that the past 100 years of incompetence & misrule seem to have ended recently with a new Libertarian oriented govt.
I lived there recently for 2 years as a PT and found it to be a wonderful place... the Gov't left us alone and life was great (for me anyway!) Once you own real estate the holding costs (syndic & taxes) are about 5% of USA costs on a similar home or appt. If you bought distressed property at half of market price, like I try to do, Buenos Aires could be the place that Offshore dreams are made of. PT

I have my trust issues after 100 years of scams and expropriations. Even if Milei does the job, where is the guarantee the country won't relapse after he's gone?...
I did have an idea of buying distressed real estate there a couple of years ago. the financial system was so broken there was no way to even get the money into the country to process any transactions. for me a country where this stuff happens is not serious. good for you if you snapped something, hope you get to keep/enjoy it.
