The reason behind these moves is that both energy producers are formal candidates to join the BRICS and peace between Iran and Saudi Arabia a precursor to this .

So that's two more energy producers that will be on team China. Other nations are already lining up. U.S will be in a sticky position once BRICS trade outside the petrodollar commences .
