Question: Open account at a bank that offers good trading platform?

Interesting as Ketrade Bank was taken over by Swissquote beginning of the year. All accounts were moved to Swissquote. This must have happened a while ago or if recent you failed to migrate your account to Swissquote so they had to close it .

It was at least two years ago. Maybe longer

Standard Chartered in Singapore is not bad.

Was S$200k but don't know now as eligibility is moving target and unless your a client of an existing foreign branch is may be harder for you.

Best to contact them directly and check out your specific situation with them.
