Milan is expensive. If you live in Italy and work remote, there are better and much cheaper choices than Milan with a high quality of life. Unless you really are a big city person.
I know that there are cheaper choices but they are usually small cities. In Poland one can also live even more cheaply in small cities as well.
I guess that what I'm trying to say is that the comparison in prices is usually not fair. One compares living in Warsaw or Krakow with a high quality of life against living frugally in a small city in Italy. And even then Poland is cheaper.
Correct me if I'm wrong though. But that's why I think Poland will provide a lot "more bang for the buck", sort to speak.
