Your own business with added value and insight information or S&P500.Hi boys,
this thread is intended to be a point of comparison with forum users to collect investment ideas that allow you to live on "income" without having to focus on an active business that requires your presence in the management of the activity (or that requires a few hours week).
How would you invest this money to make it re-evaluate efficiently and safely and get a return? What business would you run?
Bond trading
Real estate purchase
Purchase valuable watches

If you want to live off truly passive income in a hands off approach with minimal risk, just buy some dividend ETFs, that's what they are built for- investors that want to get passive income without doing anything. Look into VIG, VIGI, DIV.
1 million is not enough for angel investing. Angel investing requires you to invest in about 50-100 companies to get unicorn, maybe via syndicates, but realistically you'd have to move to Bay Area to get on the best deals early during seed rounds and you will spend half of that money just living in Bay Area. Other countries don't have enough unicorns to warrant angel investing. Angel investing starts to make sense at around 7-10$ Mil.You could consider angel investing, after some initial work you can remain a silent partner.
