How do you own UK real estate anonymously the "Russian" way?

Some friends are so good it’s like trusting yourself. No need for a flight plan.

I mean, we in the West might look on that as primitive because we want all sorts of legal arrangements tying us together.

And then, you open The Telegraph geriatric money guide, and the first thing it will say is to get a Power of Attorney (potentially near limitless access to your assets) granted to a friend in case you get hit by a car or have dementia ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Give a Power of Attorney (potentially near limitless access to your assets) granted to a friend in case you get hit by a car or have dementia ...
The only problem with that is " a Power of Attorney (potentially near limitless access to your assets) granted to a friend " under the laws of most countries, is automatically revoked by death. Besides that, the "friend" can misuse or take your assets if they have an unlimited power of attorney.
It happens frequently --especially when the "friend" is also a relative. Another solution is owning things in Joint Tenancy with the right of survivorship. This avoids probate! But even there, your joint tenant can dispose of a half interest in your real estate or essentially all of your bank account while you are alive.
