Look, the words about running away from the EUSSR actually came from one user, and were repeated 100 times.

But can you honestly say they are false?

Add Cyprus/Malta and Ireland on the list if you after Med or wet climate and can do non-dom (so passive income only).
The rest you mentioned correctly, there is no ideal setup available. We almost went with Monaco, but decided to give Dubai a go and didn't regret. Apparently, most of our London circle moved the same way and you only spend like 7 months here, then travelling around the globe enjoying the everlasting summer.

Dubai/UAE -- been here now over 30 years and I too do not regret it - PS there are taxes here - it's just that they are called fees and fines .....

I do business in EU and plan to exit to Cyprus or Malta as I need proximity to the EU for my work. EU is getting crazy I highly agree ! Green ideology and socialism on the rise... I pay so many taxes and green fees to Furher Ursula than its driving me crazy to be honest.

Sure they are false.
And word arguments about 'wargomering', 'dictatorship', 'tax hells' etc are easily exposed by looking at where they are tax residents, where they keep their assets, where they get residence permits or passports, where they do business.
nothing from such arguments are not stopping anyone if they actually have interest in certain region or country
