Free residence permit on the table: Mother Russia welcomes you

For your information, you only need to pay for the visa once it is approved. However, they keep the passport in the embassy and it requries approval from Moscow. I would recommend getting a second passport (if your country allows it) if you wish to be able to continue to travel. Processing times are "much more than the 12 business days for simple visa" and the embassies do not have an idea how long it may take, they strongly recommend using a second passport (of same nationality) to apply.

So they recommend you to apply with a cancelled passport?

No, they recommended to get a second passport (valid and of same nationality) and apply with this one. Not all countries allow it, but there are quite a few that do (Switzerland up to 2 passports, Germany up to 4 passports, Austria up to 2 passports, UK up to 2 passports, etc.), but mainly for business purposes only. But as this is a business forum, I think it should not be a big deal to pull off one company to write the required confirmation.

You can also get a 2nd passport if you "want" to travel to Israel , but you have been to Islamic countries. They will issue you a 2nd clean passport. I think Kosovo/Serbia is also the same case .

Yes, that's the main purpose. If you went from Israel to Jordan/Egypt and then want to go to Lebaon. But again, the rules vary by country and even then some only issue it for business purposes.

smi(&% why all are so negative about governments?
I'm not negative about the governments, but I am pessimistic about certain policies.
Particularly, I'm not in favor of communism, or crony capitalism / plutocracy / corporate oligarchy.
I guess many users here represent family-owned businesses (SME enterprises with less than 50m annual revenue) and are seeking solutions/ regimes that would benefit them.

Russia could be one - after all Russia represents more than 1/8 of the of Earth's inhabited land area. Simply by obtaining one residence permit you get access to vast opportunities.

Didn't Russia arrest a Wall Street Journal reporter for 'being a spy'?

There is nothing crazy here from their perspective as in RF (Russian Federation) is no difference cannabis or cocaine or any other drug, they are all prosecuted the same, and this is understantable in regards to Russians "Cultural and Traditional" values.

IMO, this is the whole purpose of this scheme RF is offering now, if you don't like what "WEST" is imposing (legalization of soft drugs, LGBTQ+, most recently the Quadrobics tendentions which are all deemed extremist in RF) then you're welcome to Mother Russia

Not planning to go to Russia to take drugs.

@Forester how about a thread for application help and reports? And then this one for all political and mental discussion about girls, cavalliere and Putin?
:) Sorry, I am not sure whether I get it right... (I admit I did not followed this thread and currently I have just read the last two pages as I am leaving for travel.) Do you mean that the thread should be splitted into two? Probably – IMO – a good idea. @JohnnyDoe mentioned somethig like this here https://www.offshorecorptalk.com/th...-mother-russia-welcomes-you.45815/post-324527, correct? Hence, if he starts some new thread, I can copy/move some posts there. Or to start a special thread for all the political and mental discussion? As I mentioned, I do not know what prevails here. Feel free to act in some direction, I will help afterwards (in the beginning of the next week as the latest).

= MODERATOR'S NOTE, 2024-10-13 =
The relevant posts moved to the new thread. 3-4 posts were not moved but copied, as I thought that it would be useful to have them in both threads. If anyone feels that some more posts should be copied or moved somewhere, please DM me or say it the new thread indicating the thread (original or new) and post numbers.

@daniels27 - ignore that troll, my friend.;)

I usually wonder how you could bring absolute off topic bulls**t with adding s**t to the fan and continue to state somehow you are clue person.

well, it's better to have shorten life but is full of great things, compared to bored existence like you, who are spending a bunch of hours every day for writing thousands messages useful of which is near 0;)

While it is well possible to understand that the debate on a topic that is natively political can be heated, any personal attacks are against forum rules and not allowed.
Take this as an informal warning. If you continue, a brute force will be used.

To make the situation completely clear, I filed 4 reports on recent messages from jafo, where he deliberately attacks me, showing signs of intolerance on the basis of nationality. I think you should see all the reports together. If you gave me a warning on a message in which I indicated to the user that his message to me was completely off-topic, then I think a targeted series of discriminatory messages should have specific consequences for the author, and not just a warning. Thank you.

Sorry, I can't distinguish what reports you have in mind now. If you feel that any report of yours was handled improperly, please describe it in a DM, I will have a look at it.

If you have in mind this message https://www.offshorecorptalk.com/goto/post?id=321648 then be advised that the language of this message is an example of a personal attack that is totally against forum rules. Just because it was 3+ weeks ago and it has remained unnoticed until now, I do not consider fair to apply any punishment...
