Domain Registrar which does not give info to US

I bought a WTF address there, is this more safe from take down compared to name.com and a .com ?

Never had any problem with njalla and the owner is a good guy (although vegan).
Do you know when their support wake up ? I paid for a domain and something went wrong so I opened a ticket.

Some addresses are less prone to takedowns than others (e.g .su). However even in cases of .com and the likes, it all depends on the registrar itself. Some are more bulletproof than others and thats why you would pay a premium with them. Njal I would say are low-moderate in such safety. Depending on your business (model) you can utilize fastflux or double-fastflux systems to rotate IPs and name servers every x amount of minutes, same with the actual content hosting you can host it anywhere and just pull it through a proxy.

It’s not a big company so it might take a while
Wayyy too slow. They haven’t even replied yet, and the payment’s still “pending”... There goes €45, hope he enjoys a nice meal or something. Whatever, I’ve already switched to a new hosting and domain provider.

For everyone else looking for a less complicated way to register Russian domains anonymous and with crypto, check here xuid.ru/domains.php

That isn't a hard problem to solve really. In most cases that information isn't checked either. There are many other registrars which can register .su and other domains.
Found a good registrator where you can do the registration in english with google translate :D and you can just put information in there as you like, as @gh0p said, no one is really checking anything there.

Only annoying part is it takes 72 hours for the domain to resolve by switching the name severs.

I personally don't touch Njalla with a ten foot pole. They were good years ago. Now they are just like any other domain register. They are famous for closing down domains for no reasons at all. Just do a Google search and you'll be able to read loads of cases. Their support is non existent as well. Sometime it can take weeks to get a reply.

My advice is to stay away. As for other domain registers the following are good:

https://nicenic.net/ (accepts crypto)
https://www.cnobin.com/

However, in the end it all depends on what you are going to use the domain for. All Generic (gTLDs) are more vulnerable to being blocked or taken down due to being govern by ICANN. For an extra layer of protection use Country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) as the are govern by each country separately. Good ones for example is .bz (Belize) or as another user already mention .su

Edited: spelling.

A EU company :D ?
PRQ used to be good, they are the same guys that hosted ThePirateBay for years (unsure if they still do) and they got a lot of hype in media from that. And yes they used to tell lawyers, etc to piss off. And I am sure they still do if it's something minor. But don't expect them to not follow a court order or take down notice. They will. In fact all hosting providers based in the EU will, not because they want to, simply because they HAVE to. Otherwise it's destruction of justice.

Therefore it's always recommended, and I can't really stress this enough, if you are doing even the slightest that might upset an attorney or law enforcement even a tiny bit, do not host it in EU. Especially if you yourself is living in a EU country. It's literally one MLAT away from being take away from you.

There really isn't a one solution fits all. It all depends on the project. Generally Asia is good for most things (a negative is it can be a bit slower speed) or even US for some projects like free speech, etc. It's like finding good office space, it's the same, it's all about location location location for that specific business.

I'm not saying you can't host anything at all in EU. You sure can, it's great and perhaps the best for some projects, you just need to make sure it doesn't upset the wrong people.
