Yes it is very easy to get your Cyprus company registered for VAT! Actually it is the part that take less time compared to anything else you need to have done when registering a company and open a bank account in Cyprus!

If you are doing business in Europe then Cyprus is still one of the best places in Europe to headquarter your company, it is opening the boarders to the Europen businesses and makes things much easier in terms of delivery and payments.

I agree with you. But.. if you are into something where you trade offline the most Cyprus may not be recognized to be the most reputable country when it comes to money transactions.
