You do not send the passport to me directly, you have to register in website/app and there submit it, i will never get access to the passport.

So it is just like registering in any other service, passport is needed to be compliant with Hong Kong laws

The only transactions you should avoid are the ones that record your name. (speaking about if your passport name does not match card user name) such as airplane and ferry tickets or hotel bookings. This is actually being extra paranoid but worth to mind it.

Everything else should be fine, I was buying some clothes the other day, since the amount was big a signature was requested and the lady at the shop wanted to match my ID name and cards name (guess this is standard procedure), since no name was printed on card she said "oh there is no name on card" and just let me go.

Another thing worth to mention is that, checking with some users, in some states ATM withdrawals may exceed 5% mentioned fee in total, as scammy banks may apply shady extra fees on currency conversion / foreign withdrawals.

Never had a problem so far,

I have been using the card for a couple of weeks now.

I haven’t had any problems at all. Most of the time it just to pay with the card. No pin or signature needed.

Is some shops signature is needed. Seems like it depends on the cashier service they are using.
