A tranquil place to relax ,have good sea food enjoy the beach.Thats it.
the island is full of American tourists and cruise ship passengers, most beaches are crowded

If good internet is available then its even better.
I don't remember when this was an issue last time anywhere....

Doesnt it have some kind of connection with the Netherlands?
it's a former colony (de facto still is), people speak Dutch and the only (or vast majority of) flights to Europe are to AMS....

I was thinking i read somewhere that if you can become a permanent resident of curacao then you get an automatic right to stay in netherlands also.can anybody second this. How is the tax situation there can i run my offshore business from there and not get taxed to death. Then i can stay alternate months maybe between curacao and phillipines. When it heats up i can be in the UK or Novosibirsk or even spend time in the Netherlands based on being permanent resident of curacao.

this is most likely nonsense but DYOR

Dutch (and US citizens) have special treatment when it comes to staying long-term in ABC islands but not vice-versa AFAIK
I wouldn't think it as nonsense based on this.

In the UAE, it's probably also the sand?
Australia has great air quality, it's just far away. The Bahamas seems to have good air quality as well, for example.
I understand that, in the end, it will be a compromise. I'm just trying to see what's out there.
Italy and Southern France are very nice, they're just too cold in winter. I guess in the end, I'll just stay in Dubai. The standard of living is very high and if you want a nice beach, you can always go and stay at nice hotel in another emirate or Oman over the weekend (beaches in Dubai itself aren't that great).
Or maybe Thailand, but I'm getting the feeling that only Bangkok would be developed enough for me... Would have to see if I can find somewhere quiet in Bangkok, maybe on a very high floor with an outdoor terrace. If you're on a lower floor, there is always so much street noise... Or maybe somewhere by the river.

There aren't that many options out there. Dubai is pretty superior, but the overpriced rents are pretty annoying. Only a few areas are worth living in.

Bangkok might be good as well, offering very high value for money in terms of housing. You could get a large apartment in the Four Seasons Residences for maybe 5k per month, I guess.

Which are the few areas worth living in Dubai as per you?

holders of the passport of Curacao can travel visa free to Schengen - which doesn't mean (using your own words) residents in Curacao have right to stay in Netherlands - again.. just my opinion, anything is possible
Maybe you are right but i will double check this because i am not 100% sure when they are talking about residents being able to go live in Netherlands.I thought all permanent residents would have the same rights.Because the investor residency program that they have is pointing towards that possibility only that they can be staying in Netherlands.
Edit:- However from a tax perspective it may not be that great as Curacao probably taxes worldwide income( who gave them that idea - the US?)
