Then leavee EU by private jet tonight. Quality of life is better outside EU than inside.
That's up for debate, I lived in the ME (Bahrain, Dubai, ...). There is no way that I would want to spend the rest of my life there. If you have money, Europe is still one of the best places to be. There is a reason why all the rich oligarchs and Saudi princes have properties in Europe. Anyway no point of discussing this, I prefer the the Med lifestyle before anything else, you may prefer something else, in the end it is all a compromise.

Could not agree more with you. Switzerland is cheaper than ME and the quality is higher than anywhere else in EU.

yes Switzerland is also a good place, my point is that a lot of people here look at all these exotic locations and complicated tax structures while for many it will only bring more headaches. Base yourself in a low tax country like Bulgaria (or another country of your choice) and live your life basically wherever you want in Europe, once you are established in Schengen area it is not difficult to stay under the radar and not trigger tax residency in some high tax Euro country. Will you have the lowest taxes possible, no but I would say that 17% is still very competitve and you don't need to live in some shithole or worry all the time that your fancy dancy offshore tax structure gets questioned.
