Banks/EMI for crypto offramp (non-EEA resident)

One thing that looks odd to me with SG banks is some of them have a really low interest on USD accounts, which effectively makes you lose money against inflation (I want at least 3.5% as fed rates are 4.25%, and for example this bank showed me a 0.03% interest rate)

Inflation including the debasement of the currency is somewhere between 8 and 12% buddy (and has been for the past 70 years). Gold (and even better, BTC) is the real currency

lol yes whatever the 'real' rate that was not my question; I'm asking what is the standard for SG banks, as europe/us is normally around fed rates

Maybe just put into stocks or ETFs? The standard rate is not 8-12% anyways

ETFs would be fine too; do they generally offer US ETFs or only local ones?

Singapore is a big financial center. They do offer US ETFs and also access to many other countries' markets. No problem here at all.

Have you been able to work it out with OCBC?
