On the other hand, I would assume that Armenia, like most countries of that type, has a high level of corruption, so chances are, you could simply pay to receive a passing test result without knowing a single word of Armenian.
Who said that Armenia has that high level of corruption? And even with the most corrupt countries, it normally ends at leat when citizenship comes into play.

Impossible. This is the usual lie told by scammers who sell residence permits or fake passports.
Its possible but in a legal way. If you actually have direct authentic connection with president they can make exceptions, obviously without middlemen. Or if you make exceptional contributions to Armenian society, for example building large enterprise there or educate lots of people to get better jobs

You would not need to know the language if its direct order of the president

Do you have those connections?

Do you have those connections?
You'll get these connections soon enough if you join local exhibitions, investor meetings, networking events, build large enterprise and invest in the economy. Armenia is very small community and if you do something significant you'll quickly find the right people, Everyone knows each other

Sorry, I meant the connections to the president.

Is there any advantage to be gained from Armenia’s EAEU membership, should one learn the language sufficiently and fulfill whatever practical requirements actually exist for naturalization?

The guy Anderson from Nomad Capitalist : did a video and/or published an article about OP main questions .

He states on /global-citizen/armenian-citizenship-and-residence-ultimate-guide/

Is there a formal exam for citizenship by naturalisation or marriage?

Yes, there’s a test, but it’s generally described as a basic test on the fundamental principles of the Armenian Constitution, often in a multiple-choice format. It’s not a rigorous legal exam. You don’t need to be fluent in Armenian, but having some basic knowledge of the language will be helpful.
