Anyone experienced with lost SWIFT transfers?

Has anyone ever had a SWIFT transfer lost somehow?

It was a small amount, sent from Singapore, it got to a correspondent bank in Germany, the status was OK ("ACSP") and then the next bank (it's not shown which one it is) never picked it up. It was supposed to be received at a regular non-blacklisted country in Europe.

I contacted both sending and receiving banks, but there is little progress so far. The receiving bank said I should contact the sending bank, and the sending bank replies once every week. I tried sending regular SEPA transfers between the banks and they are working perfectly.

Any idea what can be done in this situation? I'm not sure who else I can talk to in this situation if both of these banks are not helping...
 
Ask the sending bank to use the tracker

You can request a trace with the sending bank. It may take months as all is pretty manual now. You can request the MT103 from your sending bank as proof of payment and then send the money again. Be prepared for troubles now. Normally, the banks will refund you in full eventually.
