Skype closing down - US LLC - Need US number for banks - Ideas on providers?

Update:

- Tried with no vpn + us credit card (order accepted and refunded after 10 minutes)
- Tried with no vpn + own personal paypal (order accepted, never refunded and account closed with no email or explanation).
Eh, why bother trying with no VPN if even with US VPN it has not worked out?

Solution that may work is:

- Dolphin Anty browser (free for up to 5 user profiles if I recall correctly)
+ resident proxy closest to the billing address of CC - i.e. https://www.piaproxy.com/

What was your IP during ordering process? What is your billing address / delivery address?

I successfully migrated my Skype number to Tello
Thanks for this Johnny - this worked very well!
I took your suggestion to get a phone with eSIM and it's opened a world of possibilities where you don't have to carry around 10 old SIM cards

I'll just write a few lines bc I am in the category of people with a US number who do not have a US billing address associated with my Skype account.
When you go to the porting page on Tello, you must use a US address.
For non-US skype people, go to Settings>Your account>Billing Information
Go on Google Maps and find a random US address.
Change your billing info to this address and then use it when filling out the porting info - change it back to your actual billing address when everything is working so you can get any refunds that skype owes you.
Like has already been mentioned, use 1xxxxxxxxxx for account number (don't use the + sign), and 0000 for the PIN
Like Johnny mentioned, you need an active plan and to turn on int'l roaming.
It ported my number in 10 MINUTES!
You have to fill out the E911 info (I used the same address) and set up the voicemail.

In terms of eSIM providers, what are people using?
Airalo.com seems to offer every country. Anyone have any complaints with them?

I've used Airalo across countries such as Antigua and Barbuda, Vietnam, Bosnia and Herzogovina, and their Europe plan across a bunch of others. Worked every time. Only a small issue in Antigua with activating on arrival and it might have been user error... Otherwise it automatically activates in arrival.

They aren't the cheapest around, however, I started with them and only use the ~ 1-3GB plans so a dollar here and there isn't a problem for me.
