So, Tristan Tate… this guy really took tax evasion to another level. If what’s being said is true, he definitely found some shady ways to dodge taxes while staying in Europe.

Method #1. Mexican passport? Yeah, you read it correctly!. The funny thing is, he even posted that “Scorpius Vladimir” identity on his tiktok videos, and he took photos along with his Mexican passport on Instagram also . That was his “new” name, which didn’t exactly match up with the reality he was living. Basically, he made his life a lot easier by hiding his real identity and turning a blind eye to tax regulations in the UK and other countries. He probably realized that with a fake name, he could avoid a lot of stuff. Or maybe Mexico even on CRS they don't care anything when they receive information about someone who runs millions of dollars on..what bank ? ... . "WISE APP"...

Method #2: The UK companies – and here’s the simple game: set up companies, let them “dead” on paper, and then close them quickly before the end of the year to avoid reporting anything. forget to report also. If you have no profits, you don’t pay taxes. He was playing around with tax terms, but it’s still a pretty risky move. If someone were to seriously look into it, it wouldn’t pass under the radar. Or I am wrong?!

Why he refused Method #3 ? :)
Now, the interesting part: Why didn’t he just stay in Dubai? Well, clearly, Dubai was tempting, with 0% tax on income. He could have lived there completely tax-free. But I guess I know that in Dubai, you can even now put every sales in your name, but that kind of life has its own traps, but he could just say he is nothing more than an influencer. Still he has the "university"

Why not Method #4 ?
And then the big question: Why didn’t he choose something like the NHR regime in Portugal? Honestly, this part seems odd. With that NHR system, he could’ve lived quietly with 0% taxes and no worries, just register in portugalia, and stay in romania less than 6 months. he travels so much this could not be a problem for him.. He could’ve even brought his income to Romania at some point and reported it there, as it was tax free if he was not a resident there , Maybe he should not brag about his real home? Why didn’t he do that? Maybe something wasn’t right with his money?

All in all, it really seems like it’s getting harder and harder to dodge taxes these days. No matter how many fake passports or made-up identities you use, tax systems are getting smarter and smarter. So the real question is: How can anyone still avoid taxes these days? I think it’s a lot harder now, and more and more people are getting caught. Why two smart people like him with so many friends this all this stuff. ?

Why not .... Method #5
Why he was resuing to move to crypto, as people to buy crypto and pay him that way?

NGL, I think the fact that a photo of his passport, all internal AML flags of the account, and highly personal and confidential account details of his Wise account (address, phone, email, DoB, selfies with ID) were leaked to Coffeezilla speaks much more negatively toward the joke payment processor than to Tristan.

But, maybe I follow different moral systems to the majority of the world :)
So obviously the name on the Mexican passport is a fake one, but is the passport real? Could he really be a citizen?
I guess theoretically, but quite unlikely.
After Ron Desantis said they are not welcome in Florida, Byron Donalds came and said the same thing. Seems the Tates are not as appreciated in the USA as they thought.
This was relatively surprising to me, I expected it to be more welcoming – but maybe the US has alternative plans for the Tates, or maybe Florida just wants to rack up some political points and interrupt whatever DC was thinking about.

None of the alternative methods you mentioned apply to them since they are both U.S. citizens. That's why they resort to using other people's names, fake identities, and passports. Anything registered under their real names should have been subject to U.S. taxes.

Anyone's account at any financial institution can get leaked whether an EMI or a Swiss bank - its sadly part of human nature.

Humm I wonder what the tax and reporting status is with the brothers. Did they file their us tax returns all this time?

If he's going to have a fake passport, why have his real face on it? That's stupid, he's famous and a facial recognition scan would find you even if you aren't famous. If he's going to have a fake passport, you'd think he'd at least have an AI generated face to match the fake name. I assume he wasn't using this to travel but for bank ID checks.

The only issue with this is that banks and EMIs might want him to send selfies next to his open passport which would present problems if the face didn't match

There is AI for that too. I think that's why some banks want an interactive Zoom call these days. There will be AI for that soon enough. But putting your face to your crime is up there with the dumbest.

And is this really “taking tax evasion to the next level”? To me it sounds like reusing existing methods which are slightly changed to meet current demands.

I believe it when he has an account in a fake name and a fake passport. Banking passports were very very common in the past. The concept is however dead for a reason.

I therefore have my doubts if the fake name would be a structure UBO. Reality is likely a lot closer to him being the UBO in a bare trust (with a nominee shareholder declaration). The lawyer in the papers isn’t obliged to disclose anything, plus is likely living and working in a 0% jurisdiction. And A & T live of loans etc. They control and do not own. A concept which is also widespread. Depending on the jurisdictions involved no one can really touch their assets. Not even the UK or the USA.

istg ive seen a vlog he made like 5 years ago saying he was doing exactly this, getting passports and drivers licences in other countries then getting name changes, ik he brags about maintaining his licences as a method of getting out of traffic stops "what are you going to do revoke my licence in poland? call poland?"

Not watched the video yet but there's something inauthentic / inorganic about CoffeeZilla. Cannot warm to him. Informant. Similar story with Lex Friedman, there is no way his growth was organic.
cosigned and upvoted, coffeezilla is a freak wearing a costume who "EXPOSES" grand schemes constantly, someone at the doj hire this guy hes a genius!!!

i think you have to consider the lore of the tates
kickboxing & drug dealing -> TV advertisement -> webcam pimps -> online courses on how to get gf -> whatever they are now
when war room chats where leaked in the media last year and some relationships highlighted where "iggy semmelweis" the war room hypnotist who i believe is also a self proclaimed satanist and romainian 5'6" manosphere tweeter vlad obu who used to post videos on himself pissing on women on twitter as a flex.

his orbit is weird freaks, criminals and people that will pay thousands to be in his group chat so they can learn to get gf, its not surprising they would use weird, romantic methods of tax evasion

Dont know how Switzerland would look at it. But if management is in lets say cyprus and you fly there 1x/month to have a board meeting with 2 other local directors I guess that should work.
A lot less than what you mention already works. Mind you, it’s not Cyprus that is being bothered. It’s the home countries of the non Cypriot directors that need to “buy” it.
