What an absolutely grotesque meeting the two presidents had last night, Friday evening.

The U.S. president has reached a new low, lower than anyone thought possible. And there was already plenty of room to imagine just how deep a basement Trump resides in.

I have never seen anything like it… something so tragic, so embarrassing. How utterly pathetic.

I can't imagine how ashamed I would feel if I came from "God’s own country" (in which case, God must have been drunk… on the 7th or 8th day). Lincoln’s, Reagan’s, Roosevelt’s, Truman’s… Carter’s country.
And normally, I dislike all that “I’m ashamed of this and that” talk...but here, it’s absolutely justified!

How sad, how disgraceful, how downright humiliating… and strategically foolish for the U.S.

I have no more words....

why to you expect virtues from slavers?

Yeah it was not good look for either side sadly. In case anyone missed it or wonders what thread is about then here is a clip below.

there were 40 easy minutes before that... the deal was meant to be signed that day(at least that's why Z went there), everyone was fine.
then it all went south when zelensky tried to fomoing the USA (you've got the ocean, now you're safe but you'll see in a few years...) and telling them how diplomacy should be done.
then trump went harsh on him.
here is the full 46 minutes one.
(also after the clash, he didn't want to leave white house, he was begging to stay there. trump told Rubio to send him out lolol)

Z fucked up words and attitude(too much coke and being used to spineless world leaders, EU?), and americans aren't exactly the most tolerant ones if you touch their land or their supposed western world supremacy...
Also the meeting was organized and requested by ukranians, not by USA.
They took it as a direct attack, he came to their house begging for money and protection, and a the same time started lecturing them how they should live, while the whole world was watching.

Rubio explained here

Read any body language 101 manual and you can understand what happened even without words. (Of course let’s pretend someone had just a sinus).

Huge lack of class from Trump imo. I can't imagine Xi Jingping acting like that.

Most people only watched a 4-minute clip. Not the entire 50 minutes.

Trump and Vance were in the right. Of course, warmongers and the people they've brainwashed for the last two years disagree.

Peace = bad
More death = good

Seems Europe is on its own now. It's up to Britain and France hereinafter. Also probably Germany with its new Chancellor having more balls than the former. Let's see how tomorrow's meeting in London plays out.
What is Europe going to step up with exactly?? It has NOTHING

Actually, what even is Europe? People throw the word around like it is a singularity, but all I see is a mess of competing emotions, indecision and collapsing economies. Europe doesn't exist.

SoS Rubio and the Ukrainian diplomats had negotiated a deal prior to this meeting. This was supposed to be a grip and grin followed by a signing, which would have been a fig leaf (See! We’re getting our money back!) for Trump against his political base giving cover to allow increased US aid and participation in forcing Russia to come to the table, followed by implicit security guarantees ratcheting into explicit guarantees as the US “secured its investment”. One just couldn’t say that outright in the current US political climate.

I’m not sure exactly what happened, but it looks like Zelenskyy was the one who blew the deal up. One signifier is the reaction of US Senator Graham, who is up to his neck in military-industrial payoffs and corruption and has been a hawk for Ukrainian involvement, but is also one of the most craven opportunists in US politics. If he is sensing the direction of the wind and disavowing Zelenskyy, then Zelenskyy did something not in the script.

As for Europe…

European militaries can’t even do it on paper, much less when you factor in real-world combat readiness and designed-by-committee, state-industry-produced weaponry.

If there is a cease fire (there won’t be now except on Russia’s terms), Ukraine better use the breathing room to get it together because Russia is coming back for more as soon as they rebuild.

Any way it goes, I will continue not to care particularly much about any of it.

I sadly agree with you :(

I mean hear how much of an idiot Zelensky is lol
Trump saying "horrible things going on in Ukraine, cities destroyed, not a building standing...", he really was on his side...
and Zelensky could've talked about the bad things war and putins are doing...
Instead he steps in to say "oh no that's bulls**t, it's all fine. You have to come and look. We have very good cities, mostly cities are alive, people work, that's putins disinfo"

couldn't just keep your ego quiet and get the money?
you really have to self harm yourself that way in the middle of a deal? rof/%

High doses or prolonged use can cause symptoms resembling mania, such as excessive energy, grandiosity, impulsivity, paranoia, and even psychotic episodes.

Long-term abuse can lead to paranoia, hallucinations, and delusions, often with obsessive and irrational thought patterns.

No. He simply sold the country to the globalist/democrats, possibly the British, under the obligation of personal safety, and money of course, that's why he behaved so languidly. I don't think anything will come of it. At most, they will drag out this idiotic war for another year, many more people will die, many lives will be ruined, etc., and these bastards will earn a couple more billion and then go live somewhere to the safe perfect place.

Ok but you don’t play thug with the biggest thug of all. And this guy is trying to run the game with the two biggest thugs at once.

He doesn’t realize he is at the wrong end of the barrel:

Now it's time for Europe to step up, but I simply don't believe that Europe or the EU has any chance if the U.S. withdraws.

France only has enough nuclear weapons to protect itself with a shield, they can't cover much beyond their own borders. Germany is bound to fail, and the rest of Southern Europe has spent their money on the mafia, casinos, and prostitutes. Moreover, they have no real understanding of economics, so where are they supposed to find the funds for military buildup?!

It's a farce, at this rate, we'll all be speaking Russian in the near future, just like we would have been speaking German if Hitler had won.
