Also a debit card, comes with 2% on Google, Samsung and Apple pay, unlimited Dragon Pass for only 4000 KZT per month, free if you deposit 5M tenge in their deposit account at 13.8% interest, fully insured up to 20m KZT.

Kazakhstan is a country wirh strict currency control. Once you send your money there, it is in Kazakhstan forever without a special permit. Card official currency is Tenge. If you have USD and want to pay in USD with card, you loose up to 5 percent in exchange USD-Tenge-USD

Have you actually opened the link or even owned the card? It is a multi-currency card in KZT, EUR, USD. Why would it go to KZT and then back?

Also, what is the problem with capital controls if you use a debit card?

No. Every other AMEX Platinium has unlimited lounge access.
Unfortunately I can't use Revolut Ultra, it's for EEA citizens, which I'm not.

this is totally untrue. In Germany 50 per year are only allowed, Switzerland and Austria will change it shortly according to AMEX SVP I spoke to recently.

Get yourself a Bulgarian address (cheap) and apply for Revolut Ultra via that route
