Hi everyone,

I'm selling one of my personal websites to a german company for more than 100K euros. It's the first time I will receive such a large amount of money, and I would like to know which online bank can give me the least hassle with this transaction so that I don't stress and can receive the money quickly.
I've seen personal online banks like Bunq or even Revolut. Has anyone ever received this type of money with these banks? I would not like my account to be frozen or banned...

(Physical banks are not an option for me because I live in Hungary, and the banking system is lousy (I just arrived as an expat, and this is what other expats told me).

Of course, everything I do is legal, and I would have the PDFs of the sales contract as proof for the bank.

If you explain the situation in detail and provide the documents before the transaction takes place and is approved, you should not have issues with Bunq.
You can also use Blackcatcard but it’s not a bank. It is good however as a fiat to crypto ramp.
I would avoid Revolut for this kind of transactions.
Aion bank is a good choice too, I have no problems with moving 6 figures amounts with them (and every time I do I buy some of their asset management product to make them happy).

I've seen personal online banks like Bunq or even Revolut.

Bunq are masters of freezing accounts especially if funds come from third-parties. Customer support is non-existent to pre-check anything in my past experience. I wrote a whole thread about Bunq shady activity a while back.

I never had a problem with them lol
Those banking monkeys act completely random

Your in the minority then I guess. It's overpriced has non-existent customer service and they care more about trees than they do about customers. Its not just me that wrote about them years ago on here but others have too given there feedback. Anyway I want to not bring up ugly memories of that terrible bank cry&¤.

Aion seems a good choice. But yes one must explain the situation to bank before doing the transaction to be on safe side.

wise should be perfectly fine if you have no problem to provide related docs
I was waiting for someone to come up with this brilliant idea rof/%

Your in the minority then I guess.
Maybe I’m just lucky?
I’ve even done a few transactions with Kraken.
It's overpriced
I don’t think so
has non-existent customer service
They usually reply after 1-7 days. Most importantly, when they ask for documents, they don’t block the account while waiting for them.
and they care more about trees
I imagined from their color scheme that they must be some sort of LGBTQ+ green socialist bank, so I opted for their greenest plan to make them happier smi(&%

than they do about customers. Its not just me that wrote about them years ago on here but others have too given there feedback. Anyway I want to not bring up ugly memories of that terrible bank cry&¤.

At least they don’t remove bad reviews from Trustpilot

Now don’t misunderstand me: Bunq sucks like any other bank, just less than some others.

Nice feature they have is creating limitless sub account ibans if someone needs it for some purpose, unseen anywhere else I think, I use them for quite some time and I didn't have any problems yet, app design is okay for me too, I've seen much worse hah

@edouardseo
do you mind giving some information what website is? Or what's it about?

There's also 0bin.net - for the data that selfdestruct, in case you'd want to post a link. It'll be deleted after some period of time

The reason is because I've been a web developer for hundreds of years, but have never sold a website.

anyone had luck opening Bunq for offshore(belize, bvi, seychelles...)?

No chance.

I’ve even done a few transactions with Kraken.

A few transactions...lol? old)(# I used Bunq for years. Bunq was crypto friendly as Bitonic Exchange banked with Bunq. Bunq was the go to off ramp for bitcoin back in day i.e Bitonic Exchange -> Bunq. Zero due diligence from Bunq and same for bitonic...lol. I talked about it all back in 2018 below.....lol. I am talking 8 figures with no checks ;).

Now the bank is hot poo¤%&&. I would not touch it with your barge pole.

Wise works well for large payments and and would be a top choice having had experience firsthand with them and large transactions. They also have clear guidance on large payment due diligence etc. But I kept it off my list as OP wanted a online bank and not an EMI .

What's the difference between an EMI and a bank? I'm new to all of this..
