Can you elaborate this a bit?For UAE Real Estate purchase, we highly encourage our clients to keep the asset under an Offshore Company, mostly used here is RAKICC
There was a leak called "Dubai Uncovered" (feel free to google it), where information about property owners in Dubai was released. If those individuals had the properties under their companies like we suggest and do for our clients, their name would have not appeared in this list. Can you elaborate this a bit?
Thx

What would be the price of setting up and maintaining this kind of company?
Oh, Dubai has actually had a property tax since 2011, called Municipality tax or Housing fee. It is 5% of the property's rental value , paid by tenants if rented, or by the owner based on assumed market rent if not rented. And UAE/Dubai doesn't have property taxes (yet) LOL
But after 4-5 years when they sell ton of real estate they are going to introduce it
I assume sooner than personal income tax.
