Sunway Holdings, Sunway City Surge on Merger Proposal

Sunway Holdings Bhd. rose to its highest level in more than a decade in Malaysian stock trading, and Sunway City Bhd. gained after tycoon Jeffrey Cheah proposed a 4.5 billion ringgit ($1.4 billion) merger of the two construction and property companies.
