That's very bad for St. Kitts if they can't get help from the rest of the world in cases like the hurricanes they got hit of.
On the other hand this means there is an open door for tax avoidance and anonymity as long as they don't comply to the EU and OECD regulations! Smells like possibilities!
I also noticed that Amercian Samoa, Guam, Nambia, Palau, Samoa and Trindidad and Tobago are mentioned as possible tax havens. Now I wonder if there are banks there or if it is possible to setup a company if it's possible to get an bank account anywhere considering the EU ban?
Maybe some EMI providers will still offer banking for the mentioned jurisdictions!
