Hello

So, recently met a problem that EU e-com acquirer requires an office.

And I can't understand:

1) Does the office has to be in the country where the company is registered or office can be in another EU country?
2) How can it impact if I will have a physical office in the same building where 1100+ companies registered? (I guess the answer, but I want to make sure)
3) Can we have a utility bill (water, electricity and etc.) under our company name if we will rent an office?
4) In addition, we've been asked to change office address in the Company house, but can we do it if we will sub rent office?

Thanks everyone for the answers.

While it is part of Visa and Mastercard regulations, not all acquirers enforce this and enforcement is varied.

If you have an acquirer that requires an office in EU/EEA, something like Regus might not be good enough.

Whether you can have utilities in the name of the company depends on the terms of the lease. Regus and other serviced offices often do not facilitate this.
