Hi all,

We own a foreign entity in BVI with a bank account in Singapore with OCBC. Dealing with OCBC has been painful to say the least and we are fed up with their primitive processes and bureaucratic operations. Right now, our business is being affected and we've had enough.

In short, we are seeking an alternative bank in either Singapore or Hong Kong. HSBC in HK seems to be a worthy candidate but it appears they require a face to face visit (and most others) which in the essence of time is not particularly a favourable option as we are based in Europe.

We need access to a multi-currency account (GBP, USD), online banking and a debit card linked to the same account. All with relatively low account opening/maintenance minimums (no +$50k USD).

What are some recommended banks for our requirements?

Thanks

HSBC has branches in many countries, why not walk in to them and ask to help you with a bank account in their branche in Hong Kong? you could also ask your local bank to help you with the account opening abroad!

My aunt has been a long time member of HSBC in hong kong and I asked her if its really possible but she said that its not. Fortunately, there are still other bank accounts in other tax haven countries that doesn't require personal visit. Some of them are already provided above as well.
