I've recently had a nice discussion with a client of mine.
He/She was wondering how to gain visibility and TRUST from clients over the web, obviously this is not an easy business as there are many fishes in the ocean.
The majority of these are small guys that (maybe) buy useless licenses for 1000 USD and sell them 5 times higher, there is no added value in that, neither expertise.
So, my answer to client was: simple, you shouldn't! professionals most of the time work on F2F meetings.
In special cases business can be done remotely, but make sure you have a pro in front of you, make sure you ask a lot of questions and in case check multiple sources.
This is my humble thought.
