I have quite a few US LLCs and theyre effective vehicles for my biz activities.
Currently they are registered only at the local registered agent and they get rejected by some FIs for not having any physical office. In addition they dont look so prestigious when sharing a building with hundreds of others.
I am looking at renting an office in whatever US state, the registration state of the LLCs doesnt require them to have a business address in the same state (only the RA), so it doesnt really matter.
Do you think renting a small physical office in some state is a good solution? How do I go about it? Because if I just call and tell them I want to rent an office I will not use IRL and I dont want to meet them, maybe they will think I am a scammer or doing some suspicious things.
Is it usually allowed to register multiple LLCs with it as the business address if I rent an office?
James Baker offers something like this but I will be happier if I get the office to myself and I can somehow deal with the real estate manager on my own.
Last question: I am pretty sure just having a rented office is not creating ECI, right? No work is being done from the US nevertheless
