I have a vehicle in the US (german make)
I purchased it out of pocket for a good deal.
It's registered to me. However, it has an outstanding lien.
Hypothetically, let's say I want to avoid paying the lien but still keep/make use of the vehicle.
Let's say:
1. I want to transfer this to a family friend's name in another state. Where they would own it "free and clear" without paying the loan off.
2. I want to sell it to an buyer (domestic or overseas) that doesn't care there's a lien or title in the lienholder's name.
3. I want to keep the car as a backup vehicle or drive it on occasion, without worrying about having it repossessed.
Questions:
• Moral and ethical questions aside, if I did want to make any of above happen...how?
• I'm thinking darks may be of use, someone who specializes in "fixing" this, or find (overseas or domestic) buyers that don't care
Any feedback is useful and appreciated
