They mentioned that they help with bank account opening

This is a typical answer of fz incorporation agents in UAE and after paying everything it becomes hell to open a bank account

Non-resident banking in Qatar is not very common, including local companies with foreign ownership and operations. But if you move there, yes, it's about as easy as in UAE.

It really depends on context. If you ask banks in Europe and Asia, Qatar will be unfamiliar whereas everyone knows BVI. Unfamiliarity is not that different from not being reputable. Both can be cause for concern.

Anyone here tried Qatar freezone and what does the license costs and renewal?

I have read that you need to visit the country every 6 months so the residency stays valid (just like UAE).

I didn’t check if they have a golden visa or something else.

Residents investing a minimum of $1million in real estate are granted permanent residency, which provides benefits such as free health care, education/tuition, and the ability to investment in certain commercial activities. Residents investing a minimum of $200,000 are granted a 5-year renewable residency permit
