There are so many people here constantly claiming that doomsday is just around the corner and that we are becoming slaves to the nation and a new world order!

Have you prepared yourself in case war breaks out in Europe?

I mean a real war, where you might be forced to leave your home, with no access to water, heating, or electricity?

Have you packed a bugout bag, purchased survival gear, built a bunker, or made a plan for where you would escape if the worst were to happen?

Or are you more the type to think, "What a bunch of idiots believing in this nonsense", and if it does happen, you’ll just open a bottle of whiskey and wait to see what comes next?

I already escaped from Europe long time ago, and everyone sane of mind should do this, not because fearing war, but in pursuing of freedom.
If war breaks out, I hope it’s a war against tyranny. But it won’t happen: Europe is in agony and will be taken over by immigrants for good in a relatively pacific way.

We won’t notice until we suddenly realize that it has happened. It is a gradual, seemingly inevitable and already ongoing process.

I am well outside Europe and so are all my assets. I would just watch from any war in Europe from my armchair .

But it is actually a serious point you raise. It is not crazy to consider a worst case or unlikely scenario and how you would react to war. If you don't you could find yourself drafted and sent to front line to be used as cannon fodder in some conflict you don't even fully understand how it started or how it escalated so quickly :(.

lol...we are talking first world modern Europeans here. Most of them would be dead in two weeks if all supermarkets, internet and phone networks were shutdown. 99% would not be able to survive a week in Gaza right now without saying where is nearest Nando's? or why I don't get 5g signal here? They all have firm belief their well developed governments will provide or protect them just like young men in Ukraine [oh no I'm gonna trigger the usual suspects now] who didn't leave the country did.

P.S. History is funny as one minute there is a migrant crisis with boats coming to Europe from Libya then next minute Europeans could be the migrants escaping to Libya etc on boats in a European conflict.smi(&%

Italians are already escaping to Albania, while the Albanians who arrived on dinghies are returning home.

yeah you are properly right. Most of the European civilians won't survive 2 weeks, very true and most don't even prepare or at least think about worst case scenario.

Yes, that is probably what I fear the most at the moment ca#"!

The change is creeping in, and I fear it will not be for the better.
However, having now turned 60, I find comfort in knowing that I will likely not experience anything as severe as what the next generation will have to face.

I would leave 10 years ago, but my family commitments prevent me from escaping the UKSR. I do however, live in a rural area far from the nearest city. Few people wander to these location.

I have stocked 1 year's worth of supplies + a good water filter. I have a second patch of land in the remote north if I need to escape my current location. I'm changing my electricity and water supply off-grid. I want to replicate that up north too so it's ready in case I need it.

I'm learning to skin squirrels. Gruesome but necessary. I'm growing potatoes and other fundamentals. I would keep chickens but the UKSR wants us to register even 1 chicken, and I don't want them knowing who I am or where I live.

I'd like to zap a deer with a bow & arrow. Again, the law doesn't allow this but in times of SHTF, the law must take second place. Also learning how to butcher deer. YouTube is great for things like this. Starlink is also helpful, I can access the internet and they don't know my real identity.

If I could leave UKSR, where is good?

The UK is set to become minority indigenous by the 2060, probably sooner.

Ireland will fall very fast as the native population are only 5 Million to begin with.

I weep for Europe. Liberal native's own stupidity has destroyed it.

I must say, you are one of those who are very well-prepared and have clearly thought things through, truly impressive.

The only thing that doesn’t quite fit into your setup is Starlink, an American company owned by Elon Musk! In the event of war, I would assume that, whoever the enemy may be, Starlink would be one of the first targets. But that’s just a theory I have.

As for where to go, I have no idea.
Back in my younger days, people used to say New Zealand or Australia, but I highly doubt that would be a good idea now. I don’t think it would be particularly easy to get there from a European country in the middle of a war.

New Zealand and Australia are going the way of Europe, sadly. The woke virus has infiltrated the whole Westernised world.

As for Starlink, yes your point is valid. I'll have to keep watch of developments. I could use the internet from my unregistered PAYG SIM, but Starlink is more cost-effective right now.

All that said, I do have hope that Trump and his successors will turn things around. The one thing about Europe and especially the UK is that they copy like children, everything America does. So if America sweeps away the past 20 years of madness, so might we. Let's see what the AfD, Le Pen, etc., will do.

Wishful thinking maybe, so I'm still prepping.

I like your approach... as a passionate DYI and self-reliance guy I can appreciate if somebody really makes the move instead of just thinking and talking about it
even in case it's just a wasted time (i.e. the world will for some reason not turn into mayhem) and you will never use all your skills and supplies it still a nice hobby, especially if shared with children

If I could leave UKSR, where is good?
I'd say your weakest spot is the weather - you should do the same but in better climate with abundance of water (South/Central America, Indonesia, SEA, Sri Lanka, ...) or go sailing :)

would you say that South America would be accessible in the event of a war in Europe?
it depends on what kind of onset it would be - I personally don't give much probability to nukes and other sudden events - gradual collapse of society through "democracy" and import/breeding of voters is much more likely

either way it's better to be one or two steps ahead and move earlier or at least to build "outposts" - then you can sip the tea and watch another fall of Rome from your armchair in your Paraguayan hacienda (like @Martin Everson suggests)

The squirrel thing killed me, I have olive trees in Spain.

I have acquired a diesel generator, solar panels, and water filtration systems, as well as a hunting license. I don’t need anything more if a cyberwar breaks out.

All my houses have fall out shelters according to Swiss standards. I can wait and sit it out. Or take the ABS suit I stole from the Swiss army and go walk around. I have a list where to find fellow OCT members who will display an OCT sign for us.

Anybody interested in investing in a remote bomb out shelter with me?
