"Over the course of two years, more than 600 reporters from 117 countries have worked on the Pandora Papers, an international journalistic investigation coordinated by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), and set up to analyze 11.9 million internal files from 14 law firms, such as Alemán, Cordero, Galindo and Lee (Alcogal), Trident Trust and Asiaciti, all specialized in opening companies in opaque jurisdictions. Prior to the investigation, the names of these firms were already under the scrutiny of several national tax authorities for their role in fomenting tax fraud and money laundering schemes around the world. The corporate tangle that, according to the Spanish Treasury, was used by Shakira to avoid paying €14.5 million in taxes, and the companies that are at the root of Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti’s problems with the taxman are among the 29,700 offshore companies exposed by this data leak."

Thank you for sharing. Looks like similar to Panama Papers and all the other stuff ICIJ has put their nose into :)

gonna give it a read now, it seems really old news (as usual from ICIJ... )

Of course they make it look like only criminals have offshore companies.
lol plenty of premiers/head of states/kings and FMI/EU men in the list.
If those and many other, even ministries of treasury of many countries know their money is better offshore...

- maybe it's time to question that paying too many taxes is worthless,
I mean even the ministries of economy put their money in better places, that should be quite a warning!
Money never lies, people do.

Pretty much head on the nail. Oddly convenient this is all coming out when Biden is pushing for massive tax reforms and to include inflow/outflow reporting data to the IRS at a mere $600 threshold. I'm sure the EU is also up to plenty of nonsense. The left wing retards are hellbent on making sure every cent is within their reach so they can steal, whoops I mean tax.. it at any time.

It's becoming increasingly apparent that for the average person in the west the only real form of wealth is hidden wealth. This is why they want to kill the offshore industry which tbh in 2021 isn't nearly all that secretive anyways. I saw an article on the guardian talking about "Incognito bank accounts" would love to know where they find these! I want one! oh wait they do not exist because every bank on the planet in 2021 is gonna do KYC.

This like all previous leaks is propaganda from the western world that the rich are evil and world leaders from states they oppose are all evil also. This leak will be used to justify tons of "financial reforms" that will ultimately lead to the inevitable outcome of even less financial privacy and property rights for all of us and an easier time for the tax authorities.

Where is the raw data? Link please.

These "International Consortium of Investigative Journalists - ICIJ" people are bunch of clowns. Their reports are joke to me.
Some Data that available on public forum. they rename them called "Exposed"

Most of this type of so called "Exposed", are publicly available information.
They just put sensational "Headlines" and big Name to grab attention.

So that Some people donate some money them.

First Panama Papers, than Paradise Papers and Now Pandora Papers smi(&%smi(&%smi(&%smi(&%
Who take these jokers seriously???

If I am not wrong Next will be Amazon Papers, Nile Papers, Arabian Papers, DXB papers, Bahamas Papers, Cyprus Papers......so on

Someone should start competition, Under which name they will "Exposed" publicly available information.
Most people named on their list , They declare UBO to their tax resident Country. They declare all holding under their Name.

They are good in what they are doing , they know nobody will read "The 2.9 terabyte leak contains a total of more than 11.9 million files."
They are just Throwing numbers to just grab attention.

Yes, it's as if these people don't know how to use Google. A simple search for Abdullah II of Jordan wealth brings up celebritynetworth.com listing him at $750 Million. Now we have the supposed revelation that "The leaked financial documents show how the King of Jordan secretly amassed a property empire in the UK and US worth more than £70m (over $100m)." An almost billionaire King invested some of his wealth in....property. How is this news?

BVI, Panama, Belize, Cyprus, UAE, Singapore and Switzerland should bring legal action for any wrongdoing involved, such as theft, misrepresentation or privacy violations.

They all seem to launder money via London property market. I wonder why ;). Why does the UK economy continue to benefit from all this dirty money. Now UK facing a wave of Chinese black money. The UK can stop all of this global money laundering with tighter control on its property market and greater control over its British overseas territories (BOT) such as BVI, Cayman etc. But I guess it has no interest in damaging its economy any further after brexit and no interest in upsetting its BOT's smi(&%.

Where is the raw data? Link please.

Don't think its a good idea to post such links here for legal reasons . You can find it on that site that has terabytes of hacks and leak data bundles you can download from the torrent links ;).

Real problem with this type of Media Hype, In court It is really hard to prove wrong doing.
Most are the ruler of country, big politician or relative of political families.
As example how can you put Jordon King into the Jail?
Or even prosecuted him???

Sometime It is propaganda to defame political rival.

It is good for News Paper headlines.
In real world , Nobody can touch these people. They are above the law or law maker.
It is unfair world.:confused::confused:

In past when two political rival fight ,than and than One went to jail. Otherwise nothing happened.
Funny part was both are equally corrupt. One who played smart win the game.:D:D

Yeah your unlikely to see much action taken like Panama Papers. But what it aims to do is tackle the mechanisms by which such people can hide assets.

Something interesting that came out of it this is that US is shown to be one of the biggest tax havens. Now what is Biden gonna do about that? ns2 Is he gonna put his money where is mouth is and clamp down?

Money never lies, people do.

That will never happen because people are stupid. They brainwash them with feel good propaganda about welfare, ecology, and equality to feel enthusiastic about raising taxes and punishing the evil tax evaders. It's a new feudalism where the peasants enthusiastically cheer on to being exploited so that the elites have more money to play with and keep the poors in place.
The West will eternally remain a high tax location, they will never lower taxes to the levels they were a hundred years ago. Only a collapse will revert it at this point.

Ahhh Panama, Paradise and now Pandora papers. And again no Americans. CIA/NSA on a hacking spree again?

Panama papers caused some commotion. Paradise papers not so much anymore and Pandora papers… will it’s not even headlines anymore. It will slowly fade away and over the next weeks some names will pop up without too many consequences.

What is mostly forgotten is that most of what is being done is not illegal. Some actions can be seen as illegal. Not at the time but again mostly due to changed perception and laws.

I knew a few European media owners (holidays neighbors and hobbies)...
After a while we ended up talking about taxes, accountants, businesses, and how to protect/shield our wealth.
I'm not talking about Bloomberg size, but smaller yet national sized ones, tvs and newspapers.
Guess what... they used offshore corps and trusts to shield their wealth and it was perfectly normal for them.
They owned villas in Switzerland and Caribbeans too.
One of them still owns a very left-wing newspaper. His name was on panama papers.
It just made a bit of noise for maybe one day in some medias, he didn't even had to comment.
Then everyone forgot about it, or it was just a few lines in the least important page of the newspaper.
His employees are pretty much all ex/wannabe commies... and they were the first ones to quiet the things down once other left-wing politicians names came up. smi(&%
Their right-wing main political enemy was in panama papers too, but they could't write too much about it otherwise other would call on their boss...

Do you think these left-wing journos care about their boss and his offshore money?
Do you think they understand how business or finance works, what's legal and what's not?
they don't give a damn, as long as he pays them, and the newspaper stays in the "hammer and sickle" line.
They only care about chilling and drinking with their champagne socialist friends in 5 star hotels, go skying in the most exclusive french resorts (off cameras), eating daily in starred restaurants.
And wine, boy they love wine!
Their job is being paid easy money to write unproductive mental gymnastics all day long and throw s**t at "right-wing capitalists"... while maybe spending like 3k for a red sweater, 2k for a bag, 10k for holiday and 5k+ of new apple products EVERY YEAR.
But yeah they tell me Steve Jobs wasn't a capitalist...
I don't care as I am not politically affiliated, but surely it's fun to see it from the outside!

short story: do what you feel and don't take moral lessons from these kind of journos.
