Old ltd company list?

Does anyone know if there is a public registry where I can check limited companies in the UK and in Australia that are no longer operating? Thank you!

there is no way to tick just dissolved or liquidated companies but just go to google "search uk company company house" it will lead you to the right site and search company names and you will see vast data on public record some active some dissolved
