The EU and the UK are merely vassals to the US, at least in part the EU as a larger block could push back slightly - the UK unfortunately can not (alone) - something I didn’t consider at the time, Brexit in part has been a divide and conquer opportunity for the US in Europe - look at all the factions… and the interests where aligned to US foreign policy or domestic policy.
It’s literally swept up the youth of Europe for decades, now it’s sweeping up the European industrial plant processes, at the same time the UK is becoming weaker as the days pass.
Anyone who has studied history knows the US has worked against the UK since at least WW1 and strip mined the country during and after WW2, then the EU zone there after.
So Nigel complaining about the EU at this stage is just noise, he’s heavily focused on US interests.
Simply put Nigel is a traitor to the UK, because his interests are aligned with the US and ultimately the peace / prosperity in Europe will cease to exist whilst there will be no rebuilding for the talent and innovators within Europe and the UK have and will continue to migrate to the US and the US will be the manufacturing plant for highly technical goods for the EU and UK and the services provider for the EU and UK.
One fantastic way to observe this in real time outside of US jurisdiction over Europe/UK is to look at the TikTok saga, our Goverments are aligned with the US push against TikTok which is much more than a social media platform but also a eCommerce platform and gradually becoming a all in one platform - the argument is the data is available to the CCP, but ironically they have no qualms with their subjects data being swallowed up by US entities and made available to the US Gov and its various agencies.
It reminds me of the Soviet era record keeping where they had a archive on just about anyone of note - the US has this today on any and all European people and some of it they share backwards to circumnavigate
privacy laws.
* I should add - I’ve on occasion had communication with Farage.
