Hi folks,

I’m an e-commerce operator, starting to earn reasonably well - here as I’m keeping my options open for the near future.

Physically moving to a lower tax jurisdiction is not out of the question as long as I can take my dog!

Anyway, happy to be here and will try to contribute where I can

Make sure that your new country of residence doesn’t apply quarantine to pets! Or at least that it allows home quarantine.
Also never send your dog in the cargo compartment of the plane.

It is now 2.5 years later - still looking at a move! + dog still happy and healthy!

The big difference now is that my business is fully online. Previously it was partially online as it was an ecommerce store but had a couple of staff in the UK and fulfilment operations. Now, the service I provide is fully digital.

I found a service called K9JETS where you can pay for a seat on a jet and take your dog on board.

Seems to cost an average of around $10k one way wherever you're going.

I may start a thread but first I'll search through and read up on latest discussions. Just thought I'd respond to this old thread for fun

Very limited choice of destinations and dates.

You will be flying together with strangers and their pets in a packed small airplane, not going to be pleasant.

I've spoken with them, they'll take my dog which is substantially heavier than 8kg :D
Yes, you need to check the airlines. Some are quite relaxed and even allow big ones walking in.

Swiss often allowed me to bring my Barry too as he will save lives with the Kirsch in his barrel in car if an emergency landing in the mountains.

I mean tbh I don't have a lot of options besides driving, which would be equally as unpleasant depending on the location (yet tbd) unless done in stages, or hiring a jet which is a huge amount of money in comparison

My friend, if money was no object, I would not be on this forum. I would simply take up Monaco residence and be done with it
You should be here even if you have millions, anyone can always learn something new. That said, I'm very happy to hear that things are going your directions.

That's odd. Most of my friends here all have houses in Monaco and mansions in Hong Kong and are happy to have me over for house dumping when their Rolexes are taking up too much space they need for their Patek collection while they bang supermodels in their Boeing 747 while eating caviar.

Seems your are quite an outsider here ;)
