New rules are coming in as of 2014 to increase transparency in HK that will require all HK registered companies to declare 1 human director. Previously you could have corporate directors & shareholders.

Needless to say this will have implications for existing HK / Seychelles structures where the HK company was owned and directed by a Seychelles company.

How are affected CC members going to deal with this? Use nominees or go somewhere else?

The address and passport or ID number of directors may under some circumstances be withheld, so it's not a huge privacy concern.

Personally I'm not too bothered, but it does indeed largely negate the privacy one could previously enjoy using a corporate director. The nominee director sector in Hong Kong is likely to blossom as a result of this change, though.
