when opening a brand new offshore account, what would typically be the first of many requirements that most if not all banks would ask a customer assuming that the offshore bank posted on their website that no personal visit is needed? would the bank ask where the customer lives? what country they currently reside and can they prove that they actually live in that specific country like a passport, utility bills, ect..........? would the bank want concrete proof where the customer actually lives/resides at? if someone lives in the united states or canada and would like to open an offshore bank account but only for these two countries, what will most if not all offshore banks ask for if they were to ask the client where they live? what is their country of domicile? a friend of mine would like to open his first offshore bank account but doesnt know what conditions or requirements the banks will ask of him since he lives in the united states/canada? can someone please tell us. thank you.
