Recently (this morning), I discovered an online bank named Monese Bank. I was looking for a way to get a UK personal bank account and found the suggestion.
monese.com
It says that any non-resident of UK or EU can start a bank account with them. I think it's a current account. No need for an address in UK or EU. Of course they'll need our passports. But they say that anyone can open an account via online.
They have a monthly fee. £4.95 for UK account & €5-something for EU account.
They offer a MasterCard debit card which we can use. They also offer a mobile app which is sort of like the passbook of the account.
While this can be a legit service such as Payoneer who offer the same thing multiplied by 4 and for free, I think this has some kind of value for people.
What do you think? Can this be the real deal or another shitshow like PayPal?
