Hello,

I need to register a company and open a bank account in less than 2 weeks ( before the end of the month ).

It can be in any jurisdiction but I want to have a bank account in a real bank, not an EMI.

The company will provide graphic design services.

Do you have any suggestions for me ? Is it possible ?

Thank you

May I ask you where are you based (citizenship/residence)?

If you're looking to incorporate company "anywhere" in the world, why won't you go for incorporation in your home/neighbouring country?

Or, if that's not so straightforward in the essence, maybe you can share more exact requirements you may have or reasons why you can't complete incorporation plus bank account opening in the country of your residence or don't want to?

I have a 9 yr old CY co. All audited accounts up to 2021. Used to do logistics services. It has a bank account with a Cyprus bank currently undergoing a routine KYC update. Its VaT registered. No bad history, well maintained. Its for sale.

With all due respect to established forum member, I, uhm, don't personally think that looks as particularly appropriate offering for graphics design company both in terms of re'KYCing timelines for new owner UBO's, current risk appetite of Cypriot banks and necessity to purchase company with such history and previous business activity for graphic design operation.

You are correct. Thats why my post is relevant but not directed to OP specifically but is rather general. Wanted to place this offer on the forum, but without creating a new thread and be flooded with inquiries , just putting it out there basically :)

I already have an established business in my home country, but the corporate taxes are too high. I was looking to register an offshore company to do a little bit of profit shifting.

My first mistake was to use Inzone to register an offshore company in the UAE. I took the package that included a bank account, but I was never able to open a bank account in the UAE because they require a Trade License.

I was able to open an account with The Kingdom Bank for my UAE company but I was never able to receive any money in that account because their corresponding bank in Bulgaria dont accept SWIFT transfers.

After that, I've open an account with Currenxie. Last month I did a first transfer to my Currenxie account and now it's a nightmare with their Compliance Team, I gave them all the documents they requested but it's been 4 weeks now and I'm still waiting for the funds to be released.

I don't trust those 2 EMI anymore.

The fiscal year for my company in my home country is ending this month, so that's why I'm looking to register a company almost anywhere.

Why not use somebody else's company for the first invoice?

Also, UK HK etc. are fast to open. They can invoice you right away and then you give them payment terms of two weeks.

Maybe China could work.

So now we all have a better idea of what're you trying to achieve...

Sorry to hear about that.

It's not uncommon to be screwed by company formation agents in Dubai and elsewhere for account opening.

So you're basing your judgment/bias against EMI's based on your current corporate structure, which is not ideal in the eyes of MOST high-street banks and EMI's as it seems to me.

Have you consulted with tax advisor, accountant or lawyer locally on this matter? You may end up in serious troubles with tax service while making last-minute decisions you currently want to go with.

100% illegal if he owns or operates the company. Forester would close the discussion if he saw it.

It is not illegal. I will do all the necessary declaration to my local tax authorities.

Yes I have consulted a tax advisor. I will follow all the regulations for the "transfer pricing"
